The 60's





 

I'm really sorry for not updating this blog regulary for a long time, but I am currently in the middle of an exam period. When I have time after school I always visit a bookstore nearby. A couple of days ago I saw that they had a section of things with prints of people from the 60's. I am really into the 60's. I could seriously bring with me home everything. But I ended up buying a book with inspiring photos from the 60's. I really love the 60's, the hairstyle, make-up, style, fashion, movies and music.

In this look I wanted to do a 60's inspired look with the make-up. But I also wanted to create an autumn inspired look. I hope that you like the look, and enjoy autumn with its beautiful nature. The trees have already changed colours, and the air is so fresh. It makes the walks in the parks more magical, and inspiring.

I always try to find new locations to take photos. It's actually really difficult, because the places I like are crowded with people. So I often take random buses to the city, to be able to discover new places, and interesting shops. I haven't been to this part of the city so much, and I had no idea that it wasn't so very crowded. But it was really beautiful by the sea, and there were a lot of boats. It was a really peaceful place. I have to say that it's getting really chilly, but autumn is a really inspiring season. I like autumn fashion the best. So some months back my relatives had a discussion on which country people think I am originally from, and who I look like. My face changes a lot through the years. It's really interesting I have to say.

I really love the simplicity of this photoshoot in the september issue of Vogue magazine. The combination of the colours, black, white, gold and blue is beautiful. The model is wearing a lot of accessorises, which reminds me a lot of myself. I really love wearing a lot of rings, barcelets, and necklaces. I don't know why, but I think it's a habit of mine. I feel something is missing if I don't wear any accessorises. Lately, I have to say that I really love wearing simple outfits for example jeans with a leather jacket and blouse, which is really different from what I used to wear before. Before I often wore a lot of dresses. I would say that my style has evolved, but still it has the same vintage touch to it. I have been looking through old outfits, and it's funny to see how much it has evolved through the years.

I took these photos on an early morning a couple of days ago. I have always wanted to capture the light of sunrise. The beauty of the nature is truely an inspiration to me.

On that day I wanted to wear a comfortable and simple outfit, but also give it some summer and bohemian  vibe to it. It was actually the last day of sun and hot weather, before the autumn weather arrived. I'm looking forward to show you my outfits for autumn, but for now I have to revise for my upcoming exams. Wishlist for autumn

Autumn is around the corner, and that means we have to stay warm during the cold season. For Autumn I like to wear simple and casual, but also trendy outfits. The most important thing is it has to be comfortable. I like to wear coats which are vintage inspired, in colours like burgundy, blue but also military green. But I also like to keep the outfit simple as possible, mixing a few colours, for example white and black. What I often wear during the cold season is that I always put on a white sweater, black jeans, black boots and a coat. For a final touch to the outfit I always bring with me a big bag which has room for all the things that I need. But I love to wear accessorises with golden details. It makes a boring outfit look interesting!

The weather has been lovely lately and it's not too hot which is perfect for me. I have been looking through magazines and I have to say that I get inspired by lovely beaches and palm trees. The light blue colour of the beaches is truely beautiful. It's really tempting to take a swimming trip and explore the beautiful life underwater. But since I am far away from exotic places I thought I could create an inspired outfit. So when I think about places like these I associate with simple outfits with a lot of white mixed with an another colour for example blue or black combined with golden details for example a statement necklace and rings.
