Top-Stylezi//Shoes-H&M//Skirt-Cubus//Bag-H&M//Sunglasses-Vintage Hi readers! It's been a while since I've updated this blog. I've been very inspired by everything retro, lately after listening to Lana Del Rey's music. Her retro style is very inspiring. I've been listening to her songs all week and I have to say that her music style is very interesting. I especially, love her homemade music video to Videogames. I felt like I was time traveling. Sometimes, I wish I could go time traveling and experience all the eras, and see how fashion has developed during these eras. Some days ago I got this beautiful collar top from Stylezi. I've been looking for a similar top in Norway, but I haven't found any tops like these ones. You should definitely visit Stylezi if you like cute clothes and accessories. I think you will find at least one thing from this store! Have a great day, and stay tuned for the next outfit!

Vintage Fashion Promotes Inner Beauty

Some days ago I got contacted by Jackie Clark who does outreach for the Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance, a leading web resource for mesothelioma cancer. One of my goals with the blog is to do something useful and help other people, so I'm really happy that I got a chance to work with her. Jackie Clark has written an article in collaboration with my blog. It's about people can feel inner beauty with fashion whether you're suffering from illness or other things. Thanks a lot for taking the time to read the article!

Creating a personal and unique look on the outside can often have a direct impact on the way young women feel on the inside. While there are thousands of new fashions that can be mixed and matched to create a completely unique ensemble, vintage fashion is chock-full of romance and sophistication that simply cannot be duplicated.

Reveal Inner Beauty

There are many times in a young woman's life when she needs to lift her spirits and find an inexpensive yet effective way to boost her self-esteem. Women who have suffered a loss in their lives or who are facing illnesses such as cancer or mesothelioma are often confronted with mixed feelings about their outward appearances and how others may view them. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways for these women to improve their inner sense of well-being through fashion. Vintage pieces, whether worn alone or combined with modern accessories, can certainly help women who are facing tough situations feel more confident about their appearances and their conditions.

Various Styles

When many women think of vintage fashion, their minds' eyes are drawn to clothing pieces from various eras. Clothing styles from the 1960s and 1970s are extremely popular among younger women due to their timelessness and versatility. Aside from this, many of the women's fashions from this era were designed to be light, airy and comfortable--exactly what women need in order to feel confident and beautiful. Whether they are chosen for their practicality or whimsy, vintage fashions come in a wide range of styles that are sure to suit any type of personality.

Conversation Pieces

Vintage clothing is often unique in such a way that it draws attention from men and women of all ages; even those who are not interested in fashion can often pick out a vintage piece and express their interest. Young women who are struggling with illness or other personal battles often find themselves involved in conversations about their troubles, initiated by caring friends and family members who are unable to relate. Vintage fashion gives these young women another way to start conversations about things that are pleasant and enjoyable--such as where the piece was purchased and which era it is from.

An Expression of Personality

Sometimes, women who are facing illnesses like breast cancer or mesothelioma feel as if their sickness slowly takes over who they are--and who they are going to become. Finding new ways to express their personality is a very important part of maintaining their mental health and remaining strong throughout their treatment. Vintage fashion is more than a simple fashion statement; it is a hobby in its own right. By choosing pieces that appeal to them, young women can express their personalities through their clothing, hairstyles and accessories.

Although feeling beautiful on the inside is the first step to exuding beauty on the outside, each facet of beauty weighs heavily on the other. Vintage fashion is just one way for young women who have been diagnosed with a serious illness to feel confident and strong in their own bodies and show the rest of the world that they are not defined by their diseases.

School Fashion

Coat-H&M// Skirt- Vintage// Blouse-DIY//Headband- Kappahl//Tote Bag- Inverted Commas//Ring, Earrings and necklace- Rings and tings

Hi readers!
I've been inspired by school fashion lately. I remember the school days at High School when everyone was dressed up in nice clothes. We don't wear school uniforms at High School in Norway, so everyone can wear what they want. It was a great time! Some days ago I got the necklace, ring and earrings from Rings and Tings and I have to say that I really like them. You should definitely check out their shop. They have cute clothes and accessories. I also got this tote bag from Inverted Commas and it's really great to have when you're bringing with you books to school. They have great tote bags with unique designs. Sorry for not updating so much. I've been very busy with exams.
