Old Money

Dress - vessos
floral crown - ebay

It's a long time ago since I had a proper outfit post, so it was about time. This time I wanted to create a simple outfit with a touch of vintage. I like to combine white and gold colours together. This dress is a masterpiece with beautiful details. I just love that the bottom of this dress looks like a painting. I really love this floral crown, it fit perfectly to almost all of my dresses. This time I tried out side bangs/fringe, because in almost all of my outfit posts I wear straight bangs/fringe. I've been having that kind of hairstyle in more than six years, and I wanted to try something new. But when you are having the same hairstyle for a very long time, it's very difficult to change to another hairstyle.

However, lately, I have been listening to the songs from Lana Del Rey's album, Ultraviolence. It's beautiful. I really like the song, Old Money, because it's very idyllic. But when I listen to this song it brings back good memories, and to a becautiful place where I used to spend all of my childhood years during summer with my closest friends. Life was very simple and everything was about living for the moment. I sort of found the person I wanted to become, and it was then I met beautiful people who understood me and became my bestfriends. It was a special time for me.

Anyways, have a nice weekend, and I hope you like the outfit!

Memories

I love to look through old photos and see beautiful places I have been. But also see how my style has evolved. I like to think how life used to be, what kind of thoughts and expectations I had. Because the only thing we have left is memories. I hope that you all have a nice weekend.

Jumpsuits and Playsuits

I am actually enjoying my last days of summer, before it's getting dark and rainy. During summer I've been more into floral prints, and colourful pattern. I usually wear dresses and shorts in summer, but this year I wanted to try more of jumpsuits and playsuits. I don't know why I haven't been wearing more of these ones before, since they are great to wear during summer. This collection from Ark is beautiful, and I really like the floral prints and the colour combination. It's very 70's inspired. This type of jumpsuits is what I was wearing a lot during summer.

However, I have been decorating my bedroom with inspiring photos, and make it more into a "fairy tale" place. If you want I will post photos of my bedroom when I am finished.

Little update

It's a long time ago since I last updated the blog. But I have been really busy with school! I have to say it was great to read all of your comments on my previous blog entry. It seems like many of you have read Pride and Prejudice or watched the movie adaption of the book, and that's great. Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors of all time. I feel the summer season went so quickly. It's soon autumn already! However, this outfit was taken two weeks ago, when it was still sunny. I wanted to wear a casual outfit that day. I hope you all are having a great week!

Q: What is your greatest memory this summer?

Pride and Prejudices

I really love reading, and one of my favorite books is Pride and Prejudices by Jane Austen. The language is really beautiful. I have to say I like the developement of the characters. It's definitely a book I would recommend to read if you're looking for something to read. I love the movie and the tv-series adaption of the book. As you probably have noticed my outfits are inspired by the era which the story is set in. To be quite honest I love the tv-series far more better than the movie, because it includes all the important details from the book. The actor and the actress for the main roles were excellent, and fit perfectly for the roles.
