Smell of autumn

Floral print blouse - Aupie
 Pants - Bikbok

In this look I wanted to do a 60's inspired look with the make-up. But I also wanted to create an autumn inspired look, so when I found this blouse in my closet it reminded me so much of autumn. I think it is because of the colours. But it also gives a 60's vibe to my outfit. I hope that you like the look, and enjoy autumn with its beautiful nature. The trees have already changed colours, and the air is so fresh. It makes the walks in the parks more magical, and inspiring.

By the sea

Bag - H&M
Jacket - Bikbok
Scarf - Ebay
Shoes - Converse

I always try to find new locations to take photos. It's actually really difficult, because the places I like are crowded with people. So I often take random buses to the city, to be able to discover new places, and interesting shops. I haven't been to this part of the city so much, and I had no idea that it wasn't so very crowded. But it was really beautiful by the sea, and there were a lot of boats. It was a really peaceful place. I have to say that it's getting really chilly, but autumn is a really inspiring season. I like autumn fashion the best. So some months back my relatives had a discussion on which country people think I am originally from, and who I look like. My face changes a lot through the years. It's really interesting I have to say.

Just for fun, where do you think I am originally from, and do you think I am mixed?

Vogue, september 2013, Paris

I really love the simplicity of this photoshoot in the september issue of Vogue magazine. The combination of the colours, black, white, gold and blue is beautiful. The model is wearing a lot of accessorises, which reminds me a lot of myself. I really love wearing a lot of rings, barcelets, and necklaces. I don't know why, but I think it's a habit of mine. I feel something is missing if I don't wear any accessorises. Lately, I have to say that I really love wearing simple outfits for example jeans with a leather jacket and blouse, which is really different from what I used to wear before. Before I often wore a lot of dresses. I would say that my style has evolved, but still it has the same vintage touch to it. I have been looking through old outfits, and it's funny to see how much it has evolved through the years.

Early morning

Pants - Mootta
Boots - H&M
Blazer - Ginatricot
Hat - Bikbok

I took these photos on an early morning a couple of days ago. I have always wanted to capture the light of sunrise. The beauty of the nature is truely an inspiration to me.
On that day I wanted to wear a comfortable and simple outfit, but also give it some summer and bohemian  vibe to it. It was actually the last day of sun and hot weather, before the autumn weather arrived. I'm looking forward to show you my outfits for autumn, but for now I have to revise for my upcoming exams. Wish me Luck!

Wishlist for autumn

Coat - Here//Sweater - Here//ring - Here//bag - Here// skirt - Here// boots - Here

Autumn is around the corner, and that means we have to stay warm during the cold season. For Autumn I like to wear simple and casual, but also trendy outfits. The most important thing is it has to be comfortable. I like to wear coats which are vintage inspired, in colours like burgundy, blue but also military green. But I also like to keep the outfit simple as possible, mixing a few colours, for example white and black. What I often wear during the cold season is that I always put on a white sweater, black jeans, black boots and a coat. For a final touch to the outfit I always bring with me a big bag which has room for all the things that I need. But I love to wear accessorises with golden details. It makes a boring outfit look interesting!
What trends do you like to wear during autumn?

Paradise

Dress - AX Paris
blazer - Ginatricot
Necklace - Bikbok

The weather has been lovely lately and it's not too hot which is perfect for me. I have been looking through magazines and I have to say that I get inspired by lovely beaches and palm trees. The light blue colour of the beaches is truely beautiful. It's really tempting to take a swimming trip and explore the beautiful life underwater. But since I am far away from exotic places I thought I could create an inspired outfit. So when I think about places like these I associate with simple outfits with a lot of white mixed with an another colour for example blue or black combined with golden details for example a statement necklace and rings.
I hope you like the post, and see you very soon!

Dracula

Dress - Karmaclothing
Earrings - H&M

This time I wanted to create a creepy and elegant look. I only chose silver accessories to my make the dress stand out. When I first saw this dress I immediatly thought about the book Dracula, but also vampires. Maybe because of the red colour? But that's the inspiration for this look. I don't have so many red pieces in my wardrobe, so it was about time to invest in clothings with another colour. As you probably have noticed in the latest blog entries I have edited the photos diferrently. I want the colours to stand out. Anyways, I hope that you like the look. Have a nice week!

Ice cold

Blouse - ebay
Necklace - H&M
Skirt - Vintage

The light outside was really beautiful. It reminded me when the sun is shining through ice during winter. It's a magnificent moment. It's beautiful like diamonds. Nature and landscape have always been a great inspiration to me. Those of you who haven't experienced winter with snow should definitely do it. It's wonderful. I have to say that the cold seasons like autumn and winter are really inspiring, when it comes to fashion.

In these potraits I wanted to capture the beautiful light which reminds me of winter during early morning, and the colours of my outfit is associated with winter like white, gold and dark blue. I paired this outfit with accessorises, which have diamond details. It's an association of the ice during winter. I really love this blouse. The details is stunning and unique, makes me want to travel back in time.
I also looked through old outfits of my pre-blogging period and I have to say that I always paired with glasses. I thought glasses would make this outfit interesting. The outfit is vintage inspired, during the 1940's when people were wearing pencil skirts and blouses like these ones. I wanted to style it with make up to make the concept interesting. I rarely use a lot of make up, and I love keep everything naturally. I look really different with make up, don't you think?

Inspiration post

I haven't had an inspiration post for a very long time, so I thought it was about time to have one. As you can see I am really into Dolce and Gabbana. I really like their designs. They're really unique and very original. But the best of all they take inspiration from different epoques and make their own version, which makes it more special. I feel all of their designs tell a story. This is inspiring and interesting for a person like me who is interested in art history and designs in general. Other things which have inspired me lately are things which are gold, black and white. I really love outfits which consists of these colours. Being underwater is a really special feeling. It's really fascinating. I enjoy swimming, and I have to say when I swim underwater and see the many sunrays shining through the water it's really beautiful. Mary Kate and Ashely Olsen's style has always been inspiring.

I hope you like the inspiration! I wish you all a great week. Next post will be really different, so look forward to that.
